New Park Designs Dinnerware

What great colors and patterns Park Designs come up with each spring. I love how all the colors coordinate with their home decor and the dinnerware. It certainly makes for a lovely table display. One of my favorite products this spring is a new Aspen ceramic dinnerware pattern. It is absolutely gorgeous! The rich colors of deep green and red are indescribable. The new glaze is fantastic; creating a natural variation in each piece. Perfect for a lodge or southwestern setting.

I think Park Designs has outdone themselves this year with the ceramic dinnerware. They added the new Casual Classics ceramic dinnerware in 4 beautiful colors that can be combined with all the Park Designs table linens. Dinnerware colors can be mixed and matched to create a stunning table. Combine the Leaf color with the Bisque that blend with the Rosemary kitchen table linens. Winter slowdown

As I look out my window at work, I notice it has started snowing heavily. It is beautiful coming down in big delicate flakes. Seeing the snow and thinking of winter brought me back to late last night when I walked out to the barn to feed my horses. The night was calm and clear...the moon was shining like a beam over my head. I took the time to stop and look up and then it dawned on me how we don't take enough time to stop and really see what is around us. We go so fast through each day, through each task in a hurried pace and sometimes that we don't realize what we are doing or what we have just done. So, this morning driving to work I took the time to be aware of what I was doing at each moment. I was amazed what I noticed when I took the time to slow down. Just little things like driving the car and touching the steering wheel...I could feel the steering wheel with my hands instead of just going through the motions. It brought back the sense of touch that we forget to be aware of. Walking with awareness...you can feel each footstep and it requires us to slow down. And as we slow down we appreciate all that is around us. We can feel the cup we are holding or the fabric of the coat we put on. Becoming more aware of using our senses is fun. You really must try it. The next time you become hurried, take a moment to slow down and look and feel what you are doing at that time. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you actually feel. Welcome to our first ever blog post! I am new to blogging and not sure what I am getting in to, but it looks like it will be fun. Here it is New Year's Eve and going into 2009. Where did 2008 go so fast? Here at Pine Hill Country Living my hopes are to keep you informed on all that is new on our website, plus the fun we have living here in Amish country in Ohio.
